The music - For a number of years I ran an accredited internship program at Excello Recording's 21 Powers Street location. When the studio wasn't busy with paying work, I'd frequently cook up some music to record.
This did something for me but more importantly it created an opportunity for assistant engineers to gain experience and confidence as lead engineer and for interns to move up to assistant engineer. In this case Charles DeChants was the studio's staff assistant-engineer and Ian Schoenberger was our intern. It turned out that Ian played the drums too! These sessions were always really fun and educational for all involved. Sometimes we even produced something worth sharing!

The cover - This was my pandemic performing rig, lights and all. I put it together on a utility trailer and could just pull up alongside an outdoor seating area. All I needed was an electric outlet. It worked great and was actually a lot of fun! My wife Janie snapped the photo outside The Indian Bay Marina, on Lake Champlain.
